The basic unit of the Society of Friends ( Quakers ) in C&SAYM is the Local Meeting'  This may be either a Monthly Meeting,  a Regional Meeting, or an Allowed Meeting.

Any of these Meetings may meet together as they wish for matters that concern them,  for Worship, fellowship or / and Business.  This means that a grouping such as Central Africa General Meeting may meet if they so wish for fellowship, worship or for local business matters. 

The status of any Meeting may change. It is possible to change the status of a Meeting at Yearly Meeting when a Minute to this effect is recorded.  This may occur, for example,  when the number of Friends in an area changes.  A Meeting could even be laid down.
